NP Digital is seeking a Senior Director, Paid Search to help grow our Paid Media team while serving as a trusted resource for our prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate has experience building and leading paid search and shopping strategies at a digital marketing agency, including seamless handoff to Paid Search Managers and Specialists. They should have outstanding knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and be able to communicate recommendations and analysis of performance to clients and colleagues alike.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience in paid search and shopping campaigns
  • 5 or more years of managing direct reports and fostering their career growth
  • Experience leading and growing a team
  • Track record of creating processes and leveraging automation or AI to streamline paid search and shopping tasks
  • Knowledge of paid search automation, AI capabilities, and rules to prevent and catch errors
  • Familiarity with LLM ads, including ChatGPT ads and Google’s AI Mode
  • Ability to translate digital & industry trends into succinct, compelling, conversational language for a variety of C-Suite and Marketing audiences
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail with the ability to catch others’ errors
  • Experienced in Google Marketing Platform, specifically Search Ads 360
  • History of hands-on management of AI Max, Performance Max, and Demand Gen campaigns
  • Excellent and passionate presenter
  • Skilled at advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and developing polished Microsoft PowerPoint presentations
  • Follows and enforces team to abide by Google Ads and Microsoft Ads best practices for campaign structure and creative
  • Has a deep understanding of how search engine algorithms work and impact performance
  • Certified for Google Ads Search via Skillshop at a minimum
  • Ability to discuss attribution and search’s role in the overall media mix
  • Bonus points for knowledge of other types of campaigns within the search ads platforms, including display, native, and video; experience with SEMrush for competitive insights; additional professional certifications, including Microsoft Ads and SA360; product feed management and experience, including Google Merchant Center; experience working with B2B clients
