Wind Turbine Blade Repair Technician (Level 3 / Supervisor) position requiring experienced technicians to conduct advanced inspections and repairs, with opportunities for growth and certifications. Travel-intensive, project-based position requiring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to safety and teamwork.
Requirements
- Inspect and document internal and external blade damage
- Perform coating and structural repairs on blades
- Work at heights (up to 300 ft) using platform systems
- Complete and submit accurate service reports and Daily Work Reports (DWR)
- Review and submit repair documentation to Operations and Engineering teams
- Communicate site progress and issues with internal teams and clients
- Support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on wind turbine generators
- Assist with site setup, including coordination of labour and materials
- Perform rigging and de-rigging tasks as required
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in hazard assessments and safety meetings
