About the Role

We are seeking a High-Performance Account Executive for our Northeast Ohio territory. This is a role for a dedicated self-starter who enjoys working with a high degree of independence. You won’t be micro-managed; instead, you will be expected to take full ownership of your sales cycle—from initial prospecting to final deployment.


We provide the back-end support, technical engineering, training, and industry-leading hardware. You provide the entrepreneurial drive to identify new opportunities and the consultative expertise to solve complex security challenges for your clients.


Location: Northeast, OH (Cleveland/Akron)

Compensation: $128k - $230k+ (Base + Commission)


Key Responsibilities:

We already have the reputation, customer base, manufacturer partnerships, operational support, and active opportunities. This market is busy, established, and ready for the right person to take it to the next level. This is not a “manage the inbox” sales role. We are looking for a self-starter who knows how to create opportunities, build relationships, and grow a territory like it’s their own business.

  • Territory Growth: Take the lead in developing and growing the Northeast Ohio territory, leveraging our established reputation and manufacturer partnerships.
  • Business Development: Generate new business through disciplined prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Relationship Building: Forge and maintain new relationships with commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and enterprise clients.
  • Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire sales process with precision, from the first conversation through the final close.
  • Consultative Leadership: Become a trusted advisor for integrated security and access control systems, helping clients navigate complex technology needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our internal technical & operational teams to ensure we deliver winning, technically sound solutions. Delivered on time and on budget.
  • Account Expansion: Actively expand existing customer accounts and uncover additional opportunities within our current portfolio.


Qualifications

  • Proven Initiative: A track record of success in roles requiring high levels of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively without daily supervision.
  • Security Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of modern physical security systems, including cloud-based video and access control. Fire & Life Safety systems are a plus.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to apply critical thinking to analyze complex client environments and architect tailored security solutions. You must be able to evaluate how modern hardware integrates with a client’s unique operational flow and legacy infrastructure to deliver a seamless, integrated, high-functioning solution.
  • Professional Communication: Exceptional ability to present sophisticated technical solutions to both technical buyers and executive decision-makers.
  • Performance-Driven: A history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through disciplined, consistent activity and follow-through.
  • Experience: We value experience, professional maturity, and a track record of independent success above all else. Industry knowledge is critical to this role. 3 years of experience in Physical Security or a related industry is required.
