Junior Accountant

Tax Compliance and Reporting

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax) in compliance with BIR regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of tax filings and payments for audit purposes.
• Assist in tax reconciliations and ensure accuracy of tax-related entries.
• Coordinate with external auditors or consultants during tax audits and assessments.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of all statutory reports.

Accounts Payable Management

• Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of supporting documents before payment.
• Prepare check vouchers, payment summaries, and ensure proper approval routing.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain an updated aging schedule for accounts payable.

Financial Statements Preparation

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Record journal entries and ensure accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger.
• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts.
• Support in financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Assist the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager during audit and closing activities.

General Accounting Support

• Maintain organized and updated accounting records and documentation.
• Support internal control implementation and compliance with company policies.
• Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

We’re looking for someone who’s eager to grow and take their career to the next level:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification (Required)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
