Senior Account Executive - Property Technology

The ideal candidate will help drive revenue growth at New Odyssey by building a strong pipeline of property management company prospects and helping shape the go-to-market strategy for Nexus AP CRE, our AI-powered accounts payable automation product for PMCs running Yardi. You will be responsible for full-cycle ownership of customer relationships from first meeting through close, building credibility with finance and operations leaders at mid-market and enterprise property management companies, and establishing the playbook that future hires will execute against. Your domain knowledge in property technology, consultative selling discipline, and effective committee-led deal management will help you succeed as a Senior Account Executive.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for Nexus AP CRE engagements — discovery, demo, technical evaluation, commercial negotiation, and close
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified PMC prospects across the mid-market and enterprise bands, working from a defined target account universe
- Run multi-threaded engagements across PMC buying committees including CFOs, Controllers, AP Managers, Directors of IT, and Directors of Operations
- Partner with the Yardi integration consultant team during technical evaluation and customer demos to defend the integration depth that differentiates Nexus AP CRE
- Develop and refine the sales playbook including discovery scripts, demo flows, objection-handling frameworks, and deal qualification criteria
- Maintain and grow relationships with closed accounts to drive expansion revenue and reference customer development
- Collaborate with the outbound team to provide field intelligence that refines targeting, copy, and sequence design
- Represent Nexus AP CRE at relevant industry events including Yardi Advanced Solutions Conference and property management association events
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into property management companies, commercial real estate, or property-adjacent verticals
- Direct experience selling AP automation, property accounting software, ERP, or other Yardi-adjacent products preferred
- Track record of closing mid-market and enterprise deals in the $25,000–$150,000 ACV range with sales cycles of 60–150 days
- Strong understanding of PMC operational workflows, multi-entity property accounting, and the Yardi ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to navigate committee-led B2B procurement processes involving finance, IT, and operations stakeholders
- Comfort defending technical product capabilities credibly during integration and security evaluations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology into operational outcomes for PMC controllers and CFOs
- Existing rolodex or network within the PMC ICP is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field preferred
