Marketing / Business Development Manager - Elite Firm

Our client, an elite firm, is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager to join their team in Houston.

You will lead and execute marketing and business development strategies across practice groups, offices, and the broader firm, with a strong focus on the Houston and The Woodlands markets. You will work hands-on with attorneys to support their individual marketing goals, develop client opportunities, and drive business through tailored pitches, proposals, and client-facing events. Your efforts will extend to managing regional marketing initiatives, including media relations, external communications, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and participation in key industry organizations.

You will identify opportunities for growth and visibility by analyzing market trends and driving thought leadership initiatives, particularly within key sectors such as energy and petrochemicals, while overseeing marketing infrastructure and content, including maintaining materials, managing digital platforms and social channels, updating contact databases, and supporting legal directory and survey submissions.

The ideal candidate brings marketing experience, preferably legal, within a law firm setting.
