As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Kforce’s growth by connecting top talent with leading clients. This is a consultative, relationship‑driven sales role with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, social media, research, and direct client outreach
- Schedule and lead client meetings to position Kforce’s staffing, project, and technology consulting solutions
- Build trusted, long‑term client relationships and become a market expert
- Understand client strategies, goals, and workforce needs
- Deliver engaging, consultative presentations to decision‑makers
- Negotiate bill rates, contract terms, and fees
- Partner with internal recruiting teams to deliver high‑quality talent solutions to clients
- Manage client relationships throughout the assignment lifecycle to expand account penetration
- Monitor and ensure ongoing client satisfaction
- Grow client accounts
- Manage full sales cycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in staffing or professional sales
- Strong consultative, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong internet research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new technologies quickly
Training & Development

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $88,900 (in accordance with Massachusetts pay equity law) PLUS Uncapped monthly commissions based on performance metrics
- Hybrid work schedule - 2 days a week onsite.
- 17 days PTO (increasing with tenure)
- 8 paid holidays PLUS firm closure for one week during the holidays
