Summary:
Our client is a Tier 1 automotive supplier of electronic and powertrain components looking to add an Account Manager to their team. As part of this team, the Account Manager will be responsible for the management of sales and relationships for the OEM account (GM).
Account Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- minimum of five years’ experience in a related position or equivalent
- Knowledge of automotive OEM’s engineering, purchasing systems and methodologies helpful
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, etc.)
- Sales experience to automotive OEM’s a plus
Account Manager Description:
- Seek and secure new business opportunities with principal customers
- Maintain and expand existing business with principal customers
- Create relationships with the principal key accounts that will lead them to work with Mitsubishi Electric on future programs
- Develop a sales strategy to meet current and future customer needs
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues with key customer accounts
- Liaison between customer demands and plant demands (production plans, price, specification, quality issues, etc.)
- Resolve all issues to the complete satisfaction of the customer
