The Opportunity

Buildsafe is one of Australia’s leading height safety and access solutions providers, partnering with many of Victoria’s most recognised residential builders.

We’re seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Victorian team, supporting residential builders and construction clients across the region. This role is focused on managing and growing existing client relationships while identifying opportunities to increase Buildsafe’s presence across residential projects.

You’ll split your time between the office and site, managing quotes, follow-ups, and CRM activity, while also meeting builders on-site to understand project requirements and maintain strong working relationships. This is a relationship-driven role, not a cold-calling position.

Reporting to the Victorian Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with operations and internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients from initial enquiry through to project delivery.

This role suits someone who values structure, accountability, and long-term relationships.

About You

You’re commercially minded, well organised, and comfortable balancing office-based administration with regular site engagement. You take ownership of your portfolio, communicate clearly, and follow things through.

You’re confident dealing with builders and site teams, and you understand the importance of accurate quoting, CRM discipline, and clean handovers to operations.

You’ll Bring

  • Experience in construction, building services, scaffold, access, or hire industries
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence engaging with clients both in the office and on site
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A current driver’s licence (essential)

Your Role

  • Manage a portfolio of residential builder clients across Victoria
  • Balance office-based sales activity with regular site visits and client meetings
  • Support Senior Account Managers with client management and growth opportunities
  • Coordinate quotes, bookings, and project follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Buildsafe CRM
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Identify opportunities to grow share of wallet within existing accounts
  • Maintain strong client retention through consistent service and follow-through
