We're hiring a Performance Marketing Manager for an eComm Agency


The Performance Marketing Manager is a step up from media execution — this role owns strategy, analysis, and results across paid channels. You won't just run campaigns; you'll architect them. You'll be the primary driver of paid performance for a portfolio of e-commerce brands, working closely with creative, analytics, and client teams to deliver measurable growth. This role is ideal for someone who has mastered the fundamentals of paid media and is ready to own accounts end-to-end, think beyond the dashboard, and operate with the confidence of a senior strategist.


Channels: Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat, CTV, Reddit Ads, Axon


Responsibilities & Deliverables


  • Campaign Strategy & Ownership

Own end-to-end campaign strategy across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram). Lead budget allocation decisions across the full paid mix.

Weekly performance reviews; quarterly scaling plans per account


  • Agency Growth

Contribute to the agency’s growth and reputation: Strategy, new opportunities, trends, new segments.

Industry trends, emerging platforms, innovative advertising strategies.

Ensure all Monday tasks are fulfilled properly and on time.


  • Google Ads Expertise

Build and manage Search, Shopping, PMax, and YouTube campaigns. Conduct keyword research, bid strategy testing, and landing page alignment. Identify and eliminate wasted spend proactively.

Monthly search term audits; conversion rate benchmarks


  • Meta Ads Expertise

Manage full-funnel Meta campaigns from prospecting to retention. Lead creative testing frameworks, audience builds, and pixel/CAPI setup validation. Own ROAS and CPA targets.

Biweekly creative test results; audience performance breakdowns


  • Strategy and Initiatives

Strategy around budget allocation, channel mix, and scaling, new channel exploration.

Check each account every morning, QA account for any issues (account overview, Pixel, spend, ad errors, rejections, check that all billing setup is ok and working across all platforms).

New testing ideas every 2 weeks: Add at least 3 ideas every 2 weeks for each partner.

Staying on top of the latest trends and insights from other marketers, emails, communities, agencies.


  • Performance Analysis & Reporting

Own weekly and monthly reporting across all paid channels. Build dashboards that highlight trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Translate data into clear strategic recommendations for clients.

  • Creative Strategy Collaboration

Partner with the creative team to brief, iterate, and test ad creative based on data. Identify winning formats, hooks, and messages.

Creative feedback and ad optimization


  • Budget & Pacing Management

Own daily budget pacing across all accounts. Proactively flag overspend or underspend risks. Manage monthly billing reconciliation across platforms.

  • Client Retention

Serve as a primary point of contact for performance-related updates. Build trust and transparency with partners.

Weekly client sync


  • Channel Expansion

Explore and test emerging channels (TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, CTV/OTT) based on client goals and budget. Present new channel recommendations with their own strategies.

Required Qualifications


Must-Have Platform Experience

- Google Ads — Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube campaigns

- Meta Ads — Facebook & Instagram, full-funnel (prospecting + retargeting), Creative management

- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and platform-native analytics dashboards

- Hands-on experience with pixel/conversion tracking setup and QA

- Shopify Experience


Experience & Skills

- +3 years of paid media experience, preferably in a e-commerce context

- Proven track record managing $30k–$200k+ monthly ad budgets

- Strong analytical mindset - comfortable building reports and extracting actionable insights

- Ability to communicate performance clearly and confidently to clients

- Familiarity with attribution tools (Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar) is a plus

- Experience with additional channels (TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat, CTV/OTT) is a strong plus

- Experience with Amazon and Amazon ads is a plus


The Ideal Candidate lives in North America, also open to Central & South America for the right fit. You'll be working with the team and clients primarily in ET.Base of 80-120k annually with opportunity for performance incentives in time.


What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)


Day 30

Full audit completed on all assigned accounts. Gaps and opportunities documented. First performance report delivered.


Day 60

New testing roadmap in place. At least one channel or creative hypothesis launched per account. Client communication cadence established.


Day 90

Measurable performance improvement vs. baseline. Clear ownership of strategy and reporting. Proactive optimization and client trust built.
