Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Developing business Targets related to BYD
- Achievement of Sales Strategic Business Plan:- whilst upholding corporate targets, quality and compliance expectations, and project timelines.
- Identify and gain new business opportunities; drive RFQs and create a win-win environment with support from engineering and purchasing.
- Pricing negotiation (cost impact by design change & material escalator and YoY) with responsible accounts.
- Minimize on AR, and take effective actions to resolve any such cases.
- Be window contact for responsible account(s), support quality and engineering for problem-solving and interface with all Regional based Account Executives on Global activity of these customers.
- Negotiate purchasing conditions / contracts with support/guidance of Legal Dept. Interface between VC Sales , BA’s and Customer Departments as necessary.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering and/or Marketing.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in Automotive Account Management
- Experience / Exposure to International Market Environment
- Previous experience of working with OEM’s especially BYD is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and persuation skills
- Chinese native & English language, both written & spoken (mandatory).
- Target oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to work under stress, whilst being able to selectively focus on highest priorities
- Office based, with frequent travel, including overseas
