Marketing Manager - 12 Month FTC

Oxygen 8 Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established medical device company on the South Coast to find a versatile, hands-on Marketing Manager.

This isn't your typical "siloed" marketing role. If you’re an experienced professional who enjoys the variety of switching from high-level strategy to event logistics and digital content all in the same afternoon, you’ll thrive here. You will take full ownership of the marketing function, working closely with the sales team and senior leadership to drive real commercial impact.

The Day-to-Day

You’ll be the "brand guardian" for a business whose products genuinely improve patients' lives. Your focus will span:

• Events & Exhibitions: Managing the full calendar of UK and international trade shows—from stand design and speaker submissions to post-event ROI.
• Sales Enablement: Creating high-quality brochures, case studies, and presentations that give the sales team a competitive edge.
• Digital Presence: Keeping the website fresh, managing SEO/PPC, and building an engaging presence on LinkedIn.
• Market Insight: Digging into the data to spot new trends, monitor competitors, and keep the leadership team informed.

What we’re looking for

We need someone self-sufficient who can "hit the ground running."

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Solid Experience: A background in marketing management, preferably within medical devices, life sciences, or a similarly regulated B2B sector.
• A "Do-er" Mindset: You’re as comfortable briefing an agency as you are drafting a press release or reviewing compliance guidelines (MHRA/MDR knowledge is a huge plus).
• Communication Skills: You know how to build relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.
• Availability: We are looking for someone who can start at short notice or immediately.
