You will lead, coach and hold accountable a team of Sales Representatives to deliver strong commercial outcomes, increase customer penetration and outperform competitors in a highly competitive market.
Reporting to the Sydney Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Drive market share growth across all key product segments through structured sales planning and execution
- Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to KPIs and activity levels
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow revenue, improve customer penetration and increase competitive wins
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (service, parts, marketing) to deliver integrated customer solutions
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, competitor movements and market trends
- Identify and pursue key account and conquest opportunities
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Leadership role
- Demonstrated track record of leading a sales team to achieve market share growth and revenue targets
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, margins and forecasting
- Experience within construction equipment, heavy machinery or a related industry
- Ability to coach, motivate and performance manage a sales team
- Strong customer engagement skills with experience managing key accounts and winning new business
- Results-driven mindset with a hands-on leadership style
