About us
Fad Saoil runs multiple sauna sites across Ireland in locations such as Rathmines, Blackrock, Greystones and Clontarf with expansion plans across Ireland and the UK IN 2026/2027. Having grown organically an through word of mouth, we’re ready for the next step in hiring this key role as we grow and expand. We’re looking for someone who mathches our ambition and values in delivering one of the best wellness experiences in Europe.
What you’d actually be doing
You’d own marketing end-to-end and report to Steve (CEO), sitting on the leadership team alongside the management.
We expect the right person to build out this function in the first year of their employment, focusing on three phases:
Phase 1 - Get the basics right.
Audit what we’re doing across paid, organic, email, and on-site. Fix what’s broken. Build a monthly calendar that all sites an events actually run to. Get our technology stack and reporting into a state where we can see what’s driving bookings.
Phase 2 - Build the engine.
Design a launch playbook we can run for our current sites and launch plans for new sites. Move us from instinct-led campaigns to a tested funnel: paid acquisition, landing pages, pack offers, lifecycle email. Build the partnerships layer.
Phase 3 - Scale and Grow.
Prove the playbook works in a market where nobody knows us. Make the case for what the function needs in year two.
What we’ll measure you on
- New bookings and pack sales attributable to marketing
- Cost per acquisition across paid channels
- Customer growth and retention
- New site launch performance vs. plan
We’re not interested in follower counts or impressions in isolation.
What we’re looking for
A marketer who has done this before at a similar stage company, somewhere between Series A and profitable scaling, ideally in a category where the product itself is part of the marketing (hospitality, fitness, F&B, wellness, premium consumer). You’ve owned a P&L line, hired people, and run paid budgets in the tens of thousands a month. You’re as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are writing copy.
You don’t need to know anything about saunas. You do need to be curious about why people come back, what makes our saunas feel like somewhere worth being, and how a category gets built.
What we’re not looking for
Agency-trained generalists who haven’t operated in-house. Brand purists who don’t want to touch performance. Performance marketers who think brand is fluff. Anyone who needs a fully-briefed quarterly plan handed to them. Social media managers with no broad strategy experience.
Practical bits
- Based in Dublin. Hybrid is fine; you’ll need to be on-site at the locations regularly, especially in the first few months.
- Some travel to countries for new locations from mid-2026.
