Job Description:

Position: Account Manager

Industry: Real Estate / Construction

Location: Mumbai - Colaba

Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager with a strong background in the real estate and construction industry. The candidate should have hands-on experience in complete accounting functions, GST, TDS, taxation, vendor management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring statutory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

1) Manage complete accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.

2) Handle GST compliance including filing returns, reconciliation, input tax credit, and GST-related documentation.

3) Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and compliance.

4) Maintain accurate books of accounts and prepare monthly financial reports.

5) Monitor project-wise accounting and costing for construction and real estate projects.

6) Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities when required.

7) Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and budget tracking.

8) Handle vendor payments, customer receipts, and ledger reconciliation.

9) Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.

10) Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and accounting principles.

Experience in real estate/construction accounting is mandatory.

Proficiency in Tally, ERP software, MS Excel, and accounting tools.

Good understanding of project accounting and contractor billing.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills

Proficiency in client communication, project management, and negotiation

Experience in tracking budgets and managing timely project delivery

Knowledge of the construction, painting, or rehabilitation industry is a plus


Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience handling accounts for builders, developers, or construction companies.

Knowledge of compliance and construction billing will be an added advantage.


Immediate joiners preferred. / Male Candidate Preferred.


Salary

As per industry standards and candidate experience.
