Context

As part of the acceleration of data-driven initiatives across our clients, we are looking for an Analytics Translator to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data teams.

This role is key to ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into data use cases, and that analytical insights are transformed into concrete, actionable decisions delivering measurable value.

Mission Objectives

Business & Data Interface

• Act as the key point of contact between business teams and data experts (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI)
• Translate business challenges and strategic objectives into structured data and analytics use cases
• Ensure alignment and shared understanding of expectations, constraints, and outcomes

Use Case Definition & Prioritization

• Identify and formalize high-value data and analytics initiatives
• Structure use cases with clear business impact and measurable outcomes
• Contribute to prioritization based on value, feasibility, and strategic alignment
• Define KPIs and success metrics for each initiative

Requirements & Communication

• Translate business needs into clear functional and analytical specifications
• Support backlog definition and refinement in collaboration with data teams
• Communicate insights and analytical results in a clear, business-oriented way

Value Delivery & Adoption

• Ensure analytics solutions are actionable and embedded into business processes
• Support user adoption, change management, and training on data products
• Track and communicate the business value generated by data initiatives

Governance & Data Consistency

• Ensure alignment with data governance principles and shared business definitions
• Contribute to harmonizing KPIs and business metrics across the organization
• Act as a reference for business logic and data interpretation

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of business processes and decision-making environments
• Solid data literacy (dashboards, reporting, analytics interpretation)
• Experience working with data teams in agile environments
• Ability to structure complex problems and translate them into actionable insights
• Good understanding of data ecosystems and analytics workflows

Profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or data-driven roles
• Proven ability to operate at the intersection of business and data
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities
• Analytical mindset combined with strong business pragmatism
• Ability to influence and drive alignment across teams
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience in BI, analytics, or data science projects
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• Knowledge of data governance and KPI frameworks
• Experience in complex or regulated environments
