Position Overview

We are searching for an exceptional developing Sales Professional to further accelerate our business growth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Southwestern Ontario Public Sector segment. The successful candidate enjoys expanding accounts as well as developing new business and is motivated by the challenges and excitement of building and growing new customer relationships. You have a strong work ethic, are determined and focused. You have a positive, “can-do” attitude and believe in collaboration and teamwork as the best way to do business. You have a strong desire to win under intense competitive pressures and have a demonstrated ability to come up with innovative and creative strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand requirements and translate to the technical team(s) to build relevant and compelling proposals.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate Compugen’s solutions to existing customers and new prospects through presentations, written proposals, RFX responses and regular business correspondence
  • Build and execute on business and customer account plans and create compelling business outcome solutions
  • Constantly refreshes insight, knowledge and understanding of IT technology industry, solutions, and strategies
  • Identify and reach decision makers and key influencers to persuade them to take action
  • Investigates, researches, and seeks information that will lead to a successful sales strategy that creates a selling advantage for a targeted opportunity
  • Effective questioning, probing, and listening that informs and leads to implementable actions and activities leading to a successful sales cycle
  • Collaboration and teamwork in the execution of all assignments, roles, and responsibilities
  • Engage key vendors partners to develop joint account and market development opportunities leading to new solutions and revenue sources
  • Build strong customer relationships within new target and existing client accounts

Sales Targets

  • Exceed required sales targets in both product and services categories for both revenue and margin.
  • Meet and exceed pipeline generation targets including weekly outbound calls, in-person client sales meetings, and proposals.
  • Grow Compugen market share
  • Create, advance and close new opportunities with target and existing clients

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be a resident of Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or Southwestern Ontario community
  • A proven track record of establishing leadership level relationships from prior roles with references therefrom are a definite asset
  • Lifelong learner to stay updated on new technology and Compugen's products and services to provide expert guidance to clients
  • Experience with governance and account strategy execution
  • Good business acumen including written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to think and plan both tactically and strategically
  • Demonstrate exceptional teamwork in all activities and work effectively with Compugen's sales, administrative, and technical teams
  • Strong Linked In profile
  • Impeccable references from relevant source
  • Experience with Proposal Management and RFP Processes / Best Practices
  • 3-5 years + Technology Sales Professional experience with strong track record of sales performance in IT Services
