Product Marketing Manager
Fort Lauderdale, FL | In-office | Full-time
About Synergylabs
SynergyLabs is a pet product manufacturer and brand portfolio company creating accessible, effective solutions for everyday pet health, grooming, wellness, and care needs. Our products are sold through major retailers, ecommerce marketplaces, distributors, and emerging digital channels.
We are entering a new stage of growth: expanding from strong value-driven hero products into more differentiated product architectures, higher-repeat wellness categories, upgraded formulas, kits, systems, supplements, treats, and channel-specific offers.
The Role
The Product Marketing & Commercialization Manager will own the bridge between product development, brand strategy, sales, ecommerce, retail, creative, and operations.
This role ensures every product launch has a clear consumer need, strong positioning, channel-specific value story, claims hierarchy, launch plan, asset requirements, and measurement plan.
What You Will Own
- Build and manage go-to-market plans for new product launches, formula upgrades, bundles, kits, and channel-specific offers.
- Translate product features into clear consumer benefits, claims hierarchy, value propositions, and shopper-facing messaging.
- Partner with product development, sales, ecommerce, creative, and operations to define launch requirements early.
- Create launch briefs that guide packaging, PDP content, sales sheets, retailer decks, Amazon content, TikTok/social content, DTC pages, and paid media assets.
- Support the company’s product architecture across classes of trade and channels.
- Help define which products belong in which commercial environments: mass retail, marketplace commerce, DTC, social commerce, grocery, value, club, pet specialty, and distribution.
- Develop competitive analysis, consumer insights, category context, and retailer-facing product stories.
- Partner with creative to ensure assets are strategically grounded, channel-ready, and commercially useful.
- Track launch readiness, launch performance, and post-launch learnings.
- Help create repeatable launch templates, commercialization processes, and decision-making tools.
What Success Looks Like
- Product launches are clearer, faster, and more consistent.
- Sales, ecommerce, creative, and operations are aligned earlier in the process.
- Every launch has a strong “why this product, why this channel, why now” story.
- Product positioning translates cleanly across retail, Amazon, DTC, TikTok, and sales materials.
- Marketing becomes a growth enablement function, not only an asset request function.
- The organization gains a repeatable GTM process that can scale.
What We Are Looking For
- Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable building structure where it does not yet exist.
- Commercially curious and able to connect product, consumer, retailer, and channel needs.
- A strong writer and strategic thinker who can simplify complexity.
- Able to work across product, sales, ecommerce, creative, and leadership.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial manufacturer/brand environment.
- Boldly inventive but practical: brings ideas and knows how to turn them into execution.
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the larger commercial objective.
- A team player who can influence without needing every detail perfectly defined.
Ideal Experience
- 4-7+ years in product marketing, brand marketing, commercialization, CPG marketing, retail marketing, category marketing, or ecommerce-adjacent marketing.
- Experience working with physical products, ideally in pet, beauty, wellness, household, consumer goods, supplements, or retail-driven categories.
- Experience supporting product launches across retail and ecommerce.
- Strong understanding of product positioning, claims hierarchy, consumer benefits, and go-to-market planning.
- Experience building launch briefs, PDP content guidance, or campaign briefs.
- Comfortable working with creative teams and translating strategy into asset needs.
This Role Is Not For Someone Who Wants
- A fully built machine with every process already defined.
- A purely theoretical brand strategy role with no execution.
- To work in a silo.
- To hand off ideas without helping operationalize them.
