Marketing Operations Manager

Hobart Wealth | Charlotte, NC

About Hobart Wealth

Hobart Wealth is an independent wealth management and financial planning firm built on deep relationships, high standards, and a commitment to doing things the right way. We believe boutique service and meaningful growth can go hand in hand, and our marketing should reflect both.

We already have a respected brand, strong marketing channels, and talented outside partners. What we need now is the right person to help bring more structure, consistency, and accountability to the work so it all performs at a higher level.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who can help bring organization, follow-through, and measurable results to a multi-channel marketing function inside a fast-moving wealth management firm.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both thinking and doing. You’ll help drive the planning, execution, and performance of our core marketing efforts, including seminars, educational and client events, referral campaigns, digital and social media, webinars, email, and video and podcast content.

You’ll work closely with leadership, sales, advisory, and outside partners to keep marketing initiatives moving, improve visibility into results, and help create better alignment across the firm.

If you are energized by building systems, improving execution, and helping turn a wide range of marketing activity into a more organized and effective function, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Organization and Execution

Help lead the day-to-day coordination and execution of the firm’s marketing efforts

Build structure and workflows that keep campaigns and projects moving efficiently

Help ensure priorities are clear, deadlines are met, and execution stays aligned with firm goals

Campaign Planning and Support

Oversee and coordinate marketing across dinner seminars, educational events, client events, referral campaigns, digital and social media, webinars, email newsletters, and video and podcast content

Help move each initiative from planning through execution and follow-up

Make sure campaigns are organized, intentional, and measurable

Funnel and CRM Alignment

Improve visibility into lead flow from first touch through first appointment

Work with sales and advisory teams to strengthen handoffs, follow-up, and accountability

Help identify where leads are slowing down or being lost in the process

Reporting, Metrics, and Budget Support

Track performance across campaigns, channels, and lead sources

Help build dashboards and scorecards that give leadership a clear picture of what is working

Use data to support better decisions, stronger execution, and smarter use of marketing resources

Vendor and Partner Coordination

Help manage outside marketing, creative, and media partners

Keep vendors and internal support resources aligned on deliverables and deadlines

Serve as a key point of coordination across the firm’s marketing efforts

What We’re Looking For

Experience in marketing, campaign management, marketing operations, growth marketing, or a similar cross-functional role

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces at once

A process-minded, detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through

Comfort working across teams and helping hold projects accountable

Interest in metrics, reporting, and improving performance over time

Strong communication skills and professional presence

Financial services or professional services experience is a plus, but not required for the right person

Who Could Be a Great Fit

This role could be a strong fit for someone who has already had meaningful responsibility in marketing and is ready for the next step. You may have experience managing campaigns, coordinating vendors, organizing events, improving systems, or helping connect marketing efforts to business results. You do not need to come from a massive company or already hold a director title. What matters most is that you are organized, proactive, accountable, and ready to take ownership.

Why This Role

The foundation is already here. We have strong channels, outside resources, and a firm with real momentum. What we need is the right person to help bring more consistency, structure, and performance to the function.

This is an opportunity to step into a meaningful role, make an immediate impact, and help shape the next phase of marketing inside a growing firm that genuinely cares about how it serves clients and represents its brand.
