Our Senior Marine Insurance Account Manager is a key member of our Marine Cargo Insurance team at Nacora Insurance Brokerage, responsible for delivering exceptional service, accurate documentation, and reliable support to both clients and internal partners. Your work will ensure clients receive timely coverage solutions, professional guidance, and best‑in‑class service.
How you create impact
- Serve as a senior advisor on marine cargo insurance, arranging coverage with underwriters and advising customers on appropriate coverage and policy gaps
- Manage the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, changes, cancellations, certificates, and referrals for shipments outside policy limits
- Mentor and train junior account managers across all aspects of marine cargo insurance and day‑to‑day account servicing
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all client‑facing documentation, including policies, certificates, invoices, and correspondence
- Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to service standards, regulatory requirements, and system utilization
- Partner closely with Account Executives to support customer strategy and day‑to‑day account management
- Research and analyze insurance and risk‑related information to support informed, strategic decision‑making
- Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in marine and commercial insurance products

What we would like you to bring
- 3+ years of experience in marine cargo insurance, particularly in the Ontario Territory beneficial.
- Proven experience managing and advising on complex insurance accounts
- Experience mentoring, training, or supporting junior team members
- Active RIBO level 1 license required (or willing to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented, results‑driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Epic is considered an asset.
- Completion or enrollment in CAIB, CIP, or CRM designations is an asset.
