Darling Crackles is a boutique marketing agency specialising in the hospitality industry. We also own a lifestyle website, eatdrinkplay.com, and a boutique events company called Secret Foodies. Our clients include some of the best restaurants and bars in Australia. We work collaboratively with our clients to design and execute marketing campaigns that fill their venues and make them buzz.


The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Account Manager with experience in hospitality and restaurant marketing to join the team. You'll have a proven track record of managing clients on a day-to-day basis and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days look the same.

You will report directly to the Director and work collaboratively with a small, tight-knit team. Marketing strategy is led by our Head of Strategy. Your role is to own the implementation, keep everything running to brief and on time, and make sure results are hitting the mark.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement strategic marketing plans across a portfolio of hospitality clients, ensuring campaigns are executed to brief, on time, and to a high standard
  • Create and manage compelling social media content for hospitality venues. You understand not just what looks good, but what actually drives reservations
  • Plan and manage paid social campaigns via Meta Business Manager, with a focus on conversion and bookings
  • Own client relationships day-to-day, including regular WIPs and clear communication on deliverables and timelines
  • Produce monthly performance reports, analyse what's working and what needs attention, and bring clear recommendations to the table
  • Monitor KPIs across all accounts and flag early if anything needs to shift


About You

  • Minimum 3 years in a Marketing Account Manager role, ideally agency-side
  • Hands-on experience in hospitality or restaurant marketing is essential
  • A genuine expert in social media marketing for hospitality, you know how to create content that stops the scroll and converts to bookings
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta Business Manager and paid social, including analytics and performance optimisation
  • Highly analytical, you're comfortable digging into the numbers, identifying trends, and translating data into clear action
  • Commercially minded with an ROI-driven approach and sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you write clearly, proofread obsessively, and know how to manage a client relationship with confidence
  • Comfortable working autonomously, executing against a set strategy, and managing competing priorities under pressure
  • Permanent, unrestricted work rights in Australia are required
