We’re partnering with a leading FMCG business to hire an account management professional to take ownership of a critical and fast-growing channel.


What’s the opportunity?


This is a high-visibility role within a business that is investing heavily in a key growth channel, with strong leadership and clear ambition.


You’ll take ownership of a portfolio that includes major national retailers alongside a fragmented network of distributors and independent customers. It’s a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with scope to grow in line with your experience.


You’ll be responsible for delivering commercial outcomes, shaping customer strategy and driving growth across a diverse and evolving customer base.


What will you be doing?

  • Own and deliver P&L responsibility (scaled depending on experience) across your customer portfolio
  • Support and/or lead Joint Business Planning aligned to commercial and category strategy
  • Manage key national retail customers alongside distributor and independent channels
  • Identify and deliver growth opportunities across ranging, pricing, promotions and distribution
  • Support forecasting, trade spend and financial planning processes
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, category, supply chain and finance
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure strong execution in market
  • Analyse performance, identify risks and proactively drive improvement


What experience do you need?

  • Experience within FMCG account management (NAE, KAM or Junior NAM level)
  • Strong commercial acumen with exposure to P&L and trade investment
  • Experience working with corporate retail customers (preferred)
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
