Marketing Account Manager (12 Month - Maternity Leave Cover)

Aeon is looking for a Marketing Account Manager to join our team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract as maternity leave cover.

About the Role

• Reporting to Account Director and Senior Account Manager
• Execute client campaigns and projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and goals to identify opportunities to grow accounts.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing projects/campaigns, including digital advertising, creatives, influencers, social media, and events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and prompt resolution of issues.
• Monitor and report on account performance, including revenue growth, client satisfaction, and retention rates.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitive activity to improve services and stay ahead of the curve.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members.

About You

• 3-5+ years of experience as an Account Manager or in a relevant role in an agency environment.
• Proven experience leading client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and driving strategic and executional excellence.
• 3-5+ years of proven marketing experience across across media buying (digital, social, print, OOH), creative production, and project management.
• Hands-on experience managing KOL/influencer marketing, EDMs, and premium events.
• Excellent planning and time management skills, attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in managing junior team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Full working rights in Australia.
