Consumer Product Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Consumer Product Manager to join our System Business Group in New South Wales, reporting to the Consumer Product Lead - SYS BG.

Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:

• Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape;
• Identifying opportunities and promoting ASUS consumer products to out-position competitors based on areas of product differentiation, both in the short and long term;
• Be an expert to promote ASUS consumer products according to the product lifecycles and product positioning in the market place;
• Take full responsibility for go-to-market plans and promotional results;
• Coordinate with the consumer Marketing Department on marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives;
• Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy to help drive product exposure.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications;
• 3-5 years of relevant job and industry experience;
• A self-starter who is able to work independently and engage cross-functional teams in meeting customer requirements;
• Strong PC skills preferred;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation skills, independent and self-motivated;
• Energetic, dynamic, optimistic and customer service-oriented;
• Strong analytical skill & ability to work under stress;
• Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
