Job Title: Account Manager (Mandarin Speaking) - Sydney, NSW (Fully On-site)
Reporting to the Head of Sales, Melbourne, this Sydney-based role is responsible for driving revenue growth through client acquisition, relationship management and the promotion of GO Markets’ financial products, including FX, CFDs and share trading.
You will focus on growing and activating the IB and affiliate network, expanding market share and maximising client lifetime value through proactive engagement and strategic account management.
This role is suited to a highly motivated and commercially driven professional with a proven ability to exceed sales targets, build long-term client relationships and thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Sales Performance & Target Achievement: Drive individual sales performance to consistently achieve and exceed growth targets and KPIs, promoting GO Markets’ financial products including FX, CFDs and share trading.
- Client & Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, IBs and affiliates, demonstrating outstanding client service skills to drive satisfaction, retention and revenue growth.
- Business Development & Market Expansion: Execute business development initiatives to expand the client and partner base, increase market share and strengthen GO Markets’ presence across the Australia region.
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Proactively source and engage new clients through calls, meetings and follow-ups, maintaining a strong sales pipeline and converting leads into active clients.
- Account Management & Operational Support: Perform non-advisory account management duties including trade placement, handling order inquiries, managing margin calls and identifying market risks.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor individual sales performance, track KPIs and provide regular updates and insights to management to support data-driven decision-making.
- Compliance & Risk Awareness: Ensure all sales and client engagement activities strictly adhere to GO Markets’ compliance policies, regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and IT teams to support campaigns and initiatives that drive client acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Partner Enablement: Support affiliates and partners with relevant tools, insights and guidance to maximise brand exposure and revenue contribution.
- Client Engagement & Events: Participate in and support client events, seminars and industry activities to strengthen relationships, enhance brand presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Channel Management: Build and maintain client relationships across multiple channels, including phone, virtual meetings, face-to-face interactions and industry events.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in business development or sales within FX, CFDs, share trading or financial products, with strong knowledge of financial markets and regulatory environments.
- Sales Performance & Results Orientation: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding challenging sales targets, with a highly driven, self-motivated and results-focused mindset.
- Client Relationship Management: Outstanding client engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to deliver a high level of service and drive client loyalty and retention.
- Business Development Capability: Strong ability to identify opportunities, build pipelines and convert leads into revenue-generating clients and partners.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights, reports and strategies effectively. Must be highly confident and engaging in all client interactions, with the ability to independently present to both large and small groups while demonstrating strong credibility with clients.
- Adaptability & Initiative: A proactive self-starter who can work independently, manage priorities and perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Integrity & Professional Conduct: Demonstrates a high level of integrity, professionalism and ethical behaviour, with a commitment to acting in the best interests of clients and the business at all times.
- Compliance Awareness: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and commitment to operating within GO Markets’ compliance framework at all times.
- Cultural & Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Mandarin mandatory. Cantonese and additional language skills are highly regarded to support a diverse, international client base.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
- RG146 Certification: RG146 Certification (Securities, Derivatives and Foreign Exchange).
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with FX industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
