The Opportunity
As a Account Executive at Agaton, you will own and drive high-impact sales processes with mid-market and enterprise customers across the Nordic region. You will work closely with founders, product, and engineering to translate real customer problems into clear value propositions and long-term partnerships.
This is not a “run inbound and close quick” role. You will sell transformational software with multiple stakeholders, varied sales cycles, and real strategic impact for our customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own complex sales cycles from first conversation to signed agreement
- Engage with senior decision makers including Heads of Sales, Customer Service, Operations, CX, and Revenue
- Build and manage strong relationships with key customers and partners in the Scandinavian markets
- Lead discovery to deeply understand customer pain points and business priorities
- Position Agaton’s AI platform as a strategic solution, not just a tool
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to tailor demos, pilots, and POCs to customer needs
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to continuously refine messaging, ICPs, and go-to-market strategy
- Contribute directly to shaping our sales playbook as we scale internationally
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in senior B2B sales, preferably within software, SaaS, or data-driven platforms
- Strong track record of closing complex, high-value deals across mid-market and enterprise segments
- Experience selling to companies in the Nordic or broader Scandinavian markets
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes with confidence and structure
- Strong commercial mindset combined with genuine curiosity about technology and AI
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led growth environment
- Ability to remain calm, structured, and credible in high-pressure sales situations
- Willingness to travel as part of the role
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Bonus Points
- Experience selling AI, analytics, voice, CX, or sales technology
- Background in telecom, financial services, utilities, or other complex verticals
- Experience working in or with scaleups or high-growth startups
- Familiarity with procurement, security reviews, and legal processes
- Experience working closely with product or technical teams during sales cycles
