THE ROLE

The brand manager plays a key role, bringing each collection to life with energy, expertise, and a strong sense of style. With over 5 years of experience in the mid to high-end women’s wholesale fashion industry, they possess a deep understanding of the market, trends, and client expectations, allowing them to confidently present collections and drive sales performance.


Managing a dynamic territory that includes the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, they cultivate strong, lasting relationships with boutique owners and buyers, with occasional travel required to connect in person and strengthen partnerships. Beyond selling, they act as a trusted advisor to their clients. With a sharp eye for merchandising and a solution-oriented mindset, they provide tailored recommendations to optimize sales, ensuring both the client’s success and the continued growth of the brand.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Establish an action plan (business plan) per collection, every 6 months, in anticipation of the upcoming season
  • Prospecting new customers and making appointments for the presentation of collections
  • Participate in establishing sales budgets
  • When receiving samples, merchandise showrooms and familiarize with the collections
  • Present collections to customers and enter orders in Sales Portal
  • Occasionally attend collection presentations at European suppliers
  • Actively participate in the sale of stock
  • Actively participate in selling essential products in inventory throughout the year


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a natural ability to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities with confidence managing relationships.
  • A positive, driven attitude with the resilience to overcome obstacles and deliver results.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong time management and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • A vehicle to travel to and from retailers for appointments and post-selling follow-up.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and transport garment bags, boxes, and related materials weighing up to 40 lbs.


Education: Post Secondary Diploma

Experience: Over 5 years of experience in sales within the mid to high-end women’s wholesale fashion industry
