The role
This is a senior, commercially focused position with full ownership of key automotive OEM accounts.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing long-term customer strategies and strengthening relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, while acting as a key interface between the customer and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow key automotive OEM accounts across North America
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue and profitability
- Build relationships across engineering, purchasing and leadership teams within OEMs
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing customers
- Lead forecasting, pricing and commercial negotiations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical and project stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with automotive processes including PPAP, APQP and customer requirements
- Support and influence internal teams to deliver on customer expectations
What we are looking for
- 10+ years’ experience in sales or account management within the automotive industry
- Direct experience managing automotive OEM customers
- Strong understanding of automotive processes such as PPAP and APQP
- Proven track record of growing key accounts and delivering commercial results
- Experience working with materials, components or technical products (chemicals not essential)
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence at multiple levels
- Based within a commutable distance of Taylor, MI
