A global supplier of advanced materials and application systems to the automotive industry, supporting automotive OEMs with bonding, sealing and coating solutions

The role

This is a senior, commercially focused position with full ownership of key automotive OEM accounts.


You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing long-term customer strategies and strengthening relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, while acting as a key interface between the customer and internal teams.



Key responsibilities

  • Own and grow key automotive OEM accounts across North America
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue and profitability
  • Build relationships across engineering, purchasing and leadership teams within OEMs
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing customers
  • Lead forecasting, pricing and commercial negotiations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical and project stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with automotive processes including PPAP, APQP and customer requirements
  • Support and influence internal teams to deliver on customer expectations



What we are looking for

  • 10+ years’ experience in sales or account management within the automotive industry
  • Direct experience managing automotive OEM customers
  • Strong understanding of automotive processes such as PPAP and APQP
  • Proven track record of growing key accounts and delivering commercial results
  • Experience working with materials, components or technical products (chemicals not essential)
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence at multiple levels
  • Based within a commutable distance of Taylor, MI
