As a Work Preparation Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on machining manufacturing, you will play a key role in enabling and supporting our operators to build high-tech products that will reach orbit. Your Tasks
- Plan and coordinate production activities with precision, including the development of build schedules, resource allocation, and thorough preparation for advanced space components and systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive production documentation, encompassing detailed work instructions, effective manufacturing plans, and accurate bills of materials.
- Optimize production processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective improvements directly on the shop floor.
- Collaborate across functions, working closely with skilled engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage materials proactively, ensuring stock availability and providing essential support for our dedicated production technicians.
- Ensure adherence to quality compliance, consistently meeting internal standards and regulatory requirements within the dynamic space industry.
- Completion of technical vocational training and advanced education as a Technician
- Proven expertise in planning, organizing, and coordinating manufacturing activities within a production environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, with the capability to manufacture parts using conventional turning and milling techniques
- Demonstrated reliability, quality consciousness, and strong hands-on problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities in a multidisciplinary, international context
- Professional proficiency in German (B2) and English (B2), utilized confidently in daily operations
- Robust digital literacy, including proficient use of MS Office applications
- Practical experience in manufacturing preparation processes
- Working knowledge of workshop tools and production safety standards
