For our office in Frankfurt, we are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Field Marketing Manager who will be primarily responsible for executing all Board branded campaigns for Germany. Reporting to the Head of International Marketing you will work very closely with the wider marketing team providing ideas, input into the overall marketing strategy, and will create compelling events to position Board’s #1 Decision-Making Platform in the German market via various digital & field initiatives. Board is seeking a strong team player who is capable to work with Marketing, Sales teams, and Consulting to collaborate on ideas and execute various internal and external third-party events. The successful candidate will be proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Generation & support of sales pipeline through leads generation with a strong focus on 
  • the bottom line 
  • Work closely with marketing & local sales teams to create and drive digital & field event activities 
  • Writing appealing content for different channels and ensuring that creative and copywriting is consistent with the company’s overall messaging 
  • Managing budget for the full year and reporting back on KPIs 
  • Managing digital and print advertising and researching the best-fitting suppliers 
  • Creating nurture and stand-alone email marketing campaigns 
  • Analyze and report on main Marketing KPIs in a consistent manner 
  • Managing and liaising with third-party vendors, venues, suppliers 
  • Research on market behavior and determining appropriate marketing activity 
  • Regular engagement with sales by acting as the conduit between marketing and sales 
  • Execute corporate programs by taking programs from the corporate marketing organization, adding customization based on the needs of the geographies, and rolling out locally 
 
Experience:
Basic Qualifications 
  • 5+ years’ experience in technology, software, or services B2B demand generation or field role. 
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce is a plus. 
  • Well versed in multi-channel campaign management across digital and offline channels (print, DM, email, social, telesales, sales, websites, SEM, SEO, tradeshows, events, etc.) 
  • Excellent copy-writing skills with a strong knowledge of technical writing 
  • Experience in planning, field, event, product, account-based, and/or project. 
  • Experience in digital advertising using various channels 
  • Knowledge of PR activities and experienced in working with agencies 
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, digital advertising, inbound web (organic and paid, and social networking. 
  • Experience working closely with sales and worldwide marketing teams to develop collaborative plans. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or comparable education/experience. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Track record of developing and managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously. 
  • Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth. 
  • A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success in delivering measurable marketing results. 
  • Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables. 
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. 
  • Highly organized, motivated, data-driven with attention to detail. 
  • Excellent project management skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
