An established organization is seeking a Financial Business Analyst to support corporate operations by partnering with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and plant leadership. This individual will focus on translating financial and operational data into meaningful insights that drive performance improvements.

This role plays a key part in identifying cost savings opportunities, analyzing product profitability across multiple U.S. locations, and supporting margin enhancement initiatives. The position requires a hands-on, collaborative approach and the ability to clearly communicate findings to both corporate stakeholders and operational teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze profitability reports and dashboards; present insights and recommendations to operational leadership
  • Partner with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities, including spend consolidation and standardization initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with plant teams, promote adoption of analytics tools, and lead training efforts (including occasional on-site sessions)
  • Gain a thorough understanding of operational and financial drivers; support continuous improvement efforts and track productivity initiatives such as labor efficiency and process improvements
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and costing teams to enhance reporting tools and resolve data integrity or system-related challenges
  • Support the implementation of future-state analytics capabilities, including report development and system migrations within new data platforms and ERP environments
  • Assist with pricing analysis, prepare presentations for leadership, and perform ad hoc financial and operational analysis as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic experience considered)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, Power Query, ETL concepts, and macros)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI (data modeling, DAX fundamentals, and dashboard creation)
