Job description: Our company is seeking a motivated Stores Coordinator to join our team. As the Stores Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy, ensure strong digital and physical organization of materials and records and ensure materials are received and available in alignment with project timelines. Be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve processes and daily operations and to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.


Job responsibilities:

Receiving & Inspection

  • Receive and unload freight using appropriate equipment or manual handling
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage
  • Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders


ERP & Inventory Management

  • Record all inbound and outbound materials in the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory
  • Manage transactions including:
  • Gate Entry (GE)
  • Goods Received Reports (GRR)
  • Requisitions
  • Issue slips


Organization & Documentation

  • Maintain organized physical storage and digital records
  • File inbound and outbound documentation in designated shared folders
  • Assign and record storage locations for all materials
  • Ensure traceability by following established documentation protocols


Labeling & Storage

  • Label all materials accurately prior to storage
  • Ensure proper shelving and storage practices


Material Coordination

  • Respond to material queries promptly and accurately
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for internal use or shipment


Shipping & Handling

  • Pack and prepare outbound shipments for transit


Workplace Safety & Housekeeping

  • Maintain a clean and organized stores area
  • Ensure all walkways and fire exits remain clear and unobstructed


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in supply chain management, business or logistics
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory best practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and lateral-thinking abilities
