I'm partnering with a growing automation and robotics organization that is looking to add an experienced Account Manager to their commercial team. This individual will focus on developing new business opportunities while supporting existing customers across the U.S. and Canada.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technical sales, relationship building, and helping manufacturers implement advanced automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with OEMs, integrators, and end users within the robotics and automation space
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across a diverse portfolio of automation products and services
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development and closing
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and service teams to deliver customized customer solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer communication within CRM tools
- Support long-term strategic growth initiatives within the robotics business unit
- Travel throughout North America as needed to support customers and business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related technical field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, automation, robotics, or industrial systems
- Strong understanding of industrial automation applications and manufacturing environments
- Experience selling into OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, or manufacturing facilities
- Familiarity with consultative/value-based selling methodologies
- CRM experience preferred (Salesforce or similar)
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
