Project Management Intern - Engineering & Drawing

Kilsaran is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support the engineering team at our Dry Mortar Plant in Brownstown, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. This role will focus on assisting with AutoCAD drawings and providing support for upcoming engineering projects, including a significant plant expansion. This internship offers hands-on experience in project management, engineering design, and process optimisation within a dynamic industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to create and update AutoCAD drawings for various projects.
• Assist in the planning and execution of the plant expansion project, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and process maps.
• Participate in site surveys and data collection to inform design and project planning.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
• Provide administrative and technical support to project managers and engineers.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering drawing standards.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and tools.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to industrial engineering projects.
