Description
- Personnel – The DM is responsible for all aspects of personnel within their region. This includes staffing, training, communications, corrective actions, and any administration required to fulfill personnel needs.
- Customer Service – Exemplary customer experience should be the DM’s focus and priority. Our goal is to ensure every customer has a positive experience. The DM is responsible for creating a successful customer service structure within each location and ensure all parties involved with assisting guests follow proper communication when addressing customer needs. The DM should take control of any situation that requires positive reinforcement.
- Facility and Equipment Maintenance – The DM is to ensure that all facilities and equipment within the facilities are properly maintained according to company policy and expectation. The DM is to advise the Director of Operations of any needs or concerns in this area.
- District Performance –When the above are handled properly, positive salon performance is the outcome. You will be evaluated on the critical components that make up the success of your district – revenue, tans, tan average, EFT and retail sales.
- Sales leadership and sales background required.
- Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a learning environment.
- Minimum of 34 years of previous sales experience required.
- Minimum of 34 years of management or supervision experience required, including overseeing all aspects of the managing of staff including hiring, training, disciplinary action, termination, coaching and supporting.
- Drive to meet and exceed performance expectations. Ability to meet or exceed sales and previously set projections for store goals.
- Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the maintenance of the store image and first impressions.
- Flexibility & dependability with schedules, including days, nights and weekends. Full time commitment is required. On call for store obstacles at all time.
- Strong computer skills required with the knowledge and proficiency in MS office programs including Word & Excel.
- Ability to work as a team player in a fastpaced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and other management.
- Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures.
- Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities. Ability to lift 30 pounds.
