POSITION OVERVIEW
The Fitness Studio Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing a dynamic, member-focused group fitness program in all three of our fitness studios (Group Exercise, Heated Studio, Pilates Reformer), that supports member engagement, retention, and overall club success. This role combines administrative leadership with active instruction and collaboration across operations, marketing, and management teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Development & Scheduling
Create, manage, and evaluate the instructor and class schedules for all 3 studios
Adjust programming based on attendance trends and member feedback
Introduce new formats aligned with member interests and business goals
Team Leadership & Staff Management
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of instructors
Foster accountability, professionalism, and positive team culture
Maintain communication and support instructor development
Staff Coordination
Coordinate instructor schedules and class coverage needs
Ensure timely communication regarding schedule changes and operational expectations
Marketing & Member Engagement
Collaborate with marketing efforts promoting classes, instructors, and events
Support initiatives focused on participation, retention, and member satisfaction
Operations & Collaboration
Work collaboratively with management to support smooth daily operations
Uphold all Company policies, procedures, and service standards
SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
20–30 hours/week of on-site administrative responsibilities
Scheduling needs may vary based on operational demands.
