At MidAtlantic Mechanical, we’re looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to take the lead on large-scale mechanical construction projects from start to finish. Must have proven success managing projects in the $25 million + range. This role requires a mix of engineering know-how, project oversight, and people skills to deliver top-notch results—on time and within budget.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership & Oversight
- Guide the project team with high-level direction from senior leadership—managing people, deadlines, budgets, and deliverables with confidence.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior PMs and engineers, helping to build a stronger, smarter team.
Collaboration & Communication
- Be the face of our team in client meetings—building relationships, communicating progress, and solving challenges as they come.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, estimating, purchasing, etc.) to keep everyone on the same page.
Project Execution
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems using industry standards and current codes.
- Use tools like ACC, Bluebeam, and SharePoint to track project progress, share documents, and coordinate with the field.
- Manage project scope, prepare budgets and bid summaries, and ensure we stay on track—financially and operationally.
- Review cost sheets, generate monthly billings, and stay on top of WIP and collections.
Quality & Field Support
- Provide technical support in resolving design issues, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and coordinating design elements.
- Visit job sites to verify field conditions and track progress.
- Monitor project changes and ensure proper communication and documentation of all adjustments.
Client and Business Development
- Keep client relationships strong through regular communication, solid performance, and transparency.
- Support business development efforts by attending presentations and client meetings—and helping us win more work.

What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing $25M+ projects and leading high-performing teams for at least 5 years.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Strong grasp of project financials, building codes, and best practices within the consulting and construction industries.
