HOLT Truck Centers in Houston is looking for a full time New Truck Sales team member. A Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and acquiring new business opportunities. Their primary role is to ensure that the company's products or services meet client needs while also driving sales growth. They act as the bridge between the company and its clients, managing accounts, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the company's offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concerns
- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and offer appropriate solutions
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to expand revenue
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure that services/products align with client expectations
- Develop personalized account plans that focus on customer retention and growth
- Address and resolve any issues that might affect the client's relationship with the company
- Track and report on key metrics such as client retention rates, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and revenue growth
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction
- Coordinate with product and service teams to ensure that client's needs are met effectively
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and presentations to clients
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company policies and client needs
- Close deals while ensuring mutual satisfaction for both the client and the company
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress toward sales goals
- Provide regular reports to management on account status, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Analyze client data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and potential risks
- 2 - 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to build rapport with clients and present solutions
- Ability to handle client issues efficiently and find creative solutions
- Proven track record in sales or account management with a focus on meeting targets
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking client interactions and sales
- Comfort in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Industry knowledge of commercial trucks, construction, and municipal contracts
- Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
