SharkNinja is expanding our APAC business and scaling it rapidly. Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands.

Given this success in our existing markets, SharkNinja has embarked on a bold plan for growing our APAC business, in which Korea plays a critical role. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team. This role will be based in Seoul.

Position Overview

The Key Account Manager role is responsible for driving market share and sales growth by developing strategic joint business plans with B2B partners and supporting commercial execution across key retail channels, ensuring strong alignment and performance delivery in the market.

This dynamic role involves fostering strong customer relationships and driving growth through the oversight of assortment strategy, pricing, and promotional plans. You'll be at the forefront of creating and implementing growth strategies that leverage yearly contract negotiations, monthly & weekly sales activities, in-store visibility improvement and new channel / retailers’ expansion.

Primary Focus

  • Business development of new channels and B2B partnerships to expand SharkNinja’s footprint in Korea

Secondary Exposure (Experience Preferred)

  • Experience working with key retail channels such as electronics, warehouse, hypermarkets, department stores, and specialty retailers

[Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do]

  • Business development to open new channels that current SharkNinja doesn’t have presence in.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop new B2B partnerships and channel opportunities to expand SharkNinja’s footprint in Korea, aligned with strategic growth priorities.
  • Develop and lead annual joint business plans with key retailers to ensure annual sales target delivery. Lead annual contract negotiation and renewal.
  • Design and sell assortment strategy, increase distribution and NPD listing, together with Retail visibility improvement (shelf, display, flyers, etc)
  • Plan and execute pricing and promotion that excels sales growth as well as health margin improvement.
  • Develop and foster strong working relationships broadly across the retailer organization.
  • Work closely with the marketing, customer service, and demand planning teams to champion your retailers' growth and ensure the highest retailer satisfaction.
  • Lead product knowledge training and incentive program for our retailers' in-store staff.
  • Strong analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales, new product sell-through, and promotion effectiveness.
  • Willingness to lead expanded retailer base and growth opportunities as new retailers/channels expand.

[Requirements]

  • You have 7+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager, specifically managing major Korean retail Channels.
  • B2B network and specialty channel experience is a plus.
  • You have strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of budget delivery and sales growth.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
  • You possess a solid understanding of retailer commercials and trade finance.
  • You have a self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a high level of attention to detail including a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
