What You Will Do
- Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, inspecting incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices and run/analyze inventory and KPI reports.
- Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement documentation, supporting quality assurance and root cause analysis.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.
- Provide informal guidance or mentoring to less experienced team members, including demonstrating proper material processes and techniques.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and properly store tools and equipment.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed, cross-training in other areas, and adapting to new processes or technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of material handling and inventory experience required.
- Forklift operations experience preferred.
- Familiarity with material handling and material movement.
- Basic computer literacy, including data entry, basic knowledge of ERP systems, and ability to use barcode scanners.
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques and material movement equipment effectively.
- Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.
- Ability to handle material and parts.
- Perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).
- Standing Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

- Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.
