Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production operations in the aluminum/Paint finishing department, ensuring timely and efficient production schedules.
- Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive measures.
- Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and lead a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Prepare and manage the production budget, including cost control measures and resource allocation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. (preferred)
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in the aluminum finishing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and lean methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Proficient in data analysis and performance metric tracking.
- Strong leadership and people skills. (Bilingual is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Knowledge of environmental compliance standards related to aluminum finishing processes.
