The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the commercial launch and growth of VTSA's EV charging port product line in the Philippine market. This is a pioneering role that requires a technically grounded Electrical Engineer with deep experience in the local power and electrical industry spanning project-based construction, retail distribution, and renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for EV charging port solutions targeting commercial, industrial, and residential markets across the Philippines.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline; identify and close deals with developers, contractors, and project owners.
- Negotiate and close contracts with key accounts in the construction, retail, and energy sectors.
- Design and implement marketing campaigns positioning VTSA as the go-to EV charging solutions provider in the PH power sector.
- Develop technical and commercial collateral proposals, brochures, case studies tailored to the electrical engineering market.
- Represent VTSA at industry events, trade shows, and forums related to EVs, renewable energy, and electrical infrastructure.
- Build and lead the pioneering Sales & Marketing team of the Power Solutions Division from the ground up.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales engineers and marketing staff.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a high-output, collaborative team culture.
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor the PH EV charging landscape competitor activity, pricing, regulations, and EVIDA (Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act) developments.
- Provide market-driven feedback to technical and supply chain teams.
- Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) strongly preferred
- 58 years of professional experience in the Philippine electrical industry
- Proven sales or business development track record in the power/electrical sector
- Experience in at least two of the following: electrical project management & construction, retail electrical distribution, renewable energy/solar
- Technical Knowledge
- Strong familiarity with Philippine electrical codes (PEC) and utility regulations
- Working knowledge of EV charging infrastructure Level 2 AC, DC fast chargers, load management, and grid integration
- Understanding of power distribution and renewable energy systems
- Established network across the PH electrical and power industry
- Strong technical selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication in both Filipino and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset suited for a pioneering, startup-style division
- Willing to travel across key regions in the Philippines
