Job Description
The Portfolio Manager provides strategic leadership for a designated sub-portfolio. Through in-depth market analysis, trend identification, and risk mitigation, this role ensures that the sub-portfolio's success is aligned with the broader business objectives, maximizes value, and keeps pace with the evolving wireless, internet and/or voice landscape.
Duties And Responsibilities
Product Strategy:
- Develop and execute a focused strategic plan for the assigned Basic Core Product sub-portfolio, directly contributing to the overall business and Basic Core Product Management strategy
- Prioritize initiatives within the sub-portfolio balancing market demand, business value, technical feasibility, risk mitigation, and emerging threat landscape
- Conduct targeted market analysis specific to the sub-portfolio, identifying opportunities, vulnerabilities, and trends
- Define a clear product vision for the sub-portfolio, creating detailed roadmaps and securing necessary funding
- Own the entire lifecycle of Basic Core products within the sub-portfolio, from ideation to launch and ongoing management
- Proactively monitor product performance, gathering customer feedback and implementing updates to address market needs and evolving threats specific to the sub-portfolio
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch within the sub-portfolio
- Proactively identify, asses, and mitigate risks directly associated with the Basic Core Product sub-portfolio
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Stay at the forefront of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, taking proactive measures to address them within the context of the sub-portfolio
- At least 5 years experience in Portfolio Management
- Basic to advanced principles of P&L, Product Management, Marketing, and Project Management
- Familiarity with revenue drivers
- Ability to conduct market analysis and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong financial management skills (profitability and cost management)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
