Senior BusinessLed Digital Transformation Managing Consultant (Hands-On)


Role Overview



  • A businessled digital transformation consultant and improvement analyst who identifies and implements changes to improve business processes performance and customer employee experiences by analysing current operations, framing problem statements, gathering and synthesising insights of pain points, and developing strategic solutions.

  • They are the lead managing consultant who acts as a liaison between business needs and IT solutions while managing a project team of Business Improvement Business Analysts. It is expected must have hands-on experience in creating and delivering documentation presentations project plans process maps and more.

  • Their role will focus on solving business problems starting with user experience and business process pain points then addressing data input/output requirements and platform challenges. Their work adds tangible and intangible value metrics, KPIs, OKRs, translating them into actionable plans that drive-to-deliver, efficiency, cost reduction, ROI, and competitive advantage.

  • This role requires a selfstarter hands-on team-centric mindset, proactivity, a good mentor-coach, and experience as a management consultant with at least 10 years of delivering enterprise digital transformation end-to-end from strategy to implementation.

  • They will and must have

    • Management consulting background with a minimum of 10+ years delivering enterprise digital transformation full cycle from strategy to implementation working at the intersection of people process data and platform needs.

    • Team management competencies - to a coach mentor guide lead and manage a project team of Business Analysts at varying levels of experience.

    • An active listener with the ability to ask openended questions focusing on understanding the client to create an informed view for discussions.

    • Enterprise transformation experience working in the intersections of people process and platform needs.

    • Practical and provide hands-on expertise in activities planning- designing- and facilitation of workshops process and data flow mapping documentation presentation summaries etc.

    • End-to-End from strategy through to delivery experience.

    • Understand and articulate the impact of business change.

    • Consultative mindset ability to conduct research and analysis articulate impact and business benefits professional to present findings and an actionable road-map-recommended steps.

    • Ability to lead, advise, and communicate with all stakeholders, business, and technology from C-Suite to Developers.

    • Ability to demonstrate and inspire stakeholders and team with best practices, market knowledge, translate macros-micro level views in an easy-to-understand format.




Key Responsibilities



  • Client-stakeholder engagement

    • Interface and engage directly with C-suite executive, sponsors, and senior stakeholders.

    • Manage both business and technology stakeholders, bridge communication gaps between senior management, operational teams, and technology partners.



  • Project Manage Deliver

    • Own workstream planning, project manage, plan, and delivery end-to-end.

    • Produce strategies, documentation, and executive playback presentations with data-driven storytelling, quantify tangible and intangible value metrics, KPIs, OKRs.



  • Lead Manage a team of Business Analysts and Service-to-Platform Designers

    • Take the lead proactively as a trusted collaborator, navigating complex landscapes, guide delivery teams one team with the client with accountability for driving plans concepts and outcomes



  • Consulting

    • Ability to navigate landscape and a strong team player ability to consult at all levels presenting a data-driven and informed point of view based on research before mapping L0 to L6 business processes.

    • They will be able to translate platform expertise, Salesforce-Conga into the language of the business and have a strong background in measuring and definingidentifying KPIs.



  • Strategy Development

    • Design and manage business improvement projects and programs that align with company goals and deliver measurable benefits such as increased customer satisfaction or reduced costs.

    • Ability to present pros cons and recommendations in a factual manner.



  • Process Modelling

    • As-Is and To-Be Visually mapping analysing and improving business operations using techniques like flowcharts BPMN and swim lanes following steps from defining objectives to implementing changes and focusing on activities like process discovery simulation analysis and enhancement for efficiency and automation



  • Process Automation AI

    • Using technology to automate repetitive manual business tasks reducing human effort errors and costs while boosting efficiency speed and consistency for goals like onboarding order processing or customer service.

    • It ranges from simple rulebased workflows RPA to complex systems that use AI/ML for decision-making, covering tasks like email marketing to intricate processes like document routing, forming a cornerstone of digital transformation.



  • Data Management

    • Strong experience in data management and able to map data flows, pain points and identify areas of improvement.



  • Facilitate & Embed

    • Design and facilitate workshops; coordinate across multiple teams; and support operational and change management teams in adopting new processes and technologies, ensuring successful implementation and sustained adoption.



  • Solution Design

    • Develop and evaluate various solutions to business problems, considering feasibility, cost, and business impact.

    • Capacity to develop long-term plans and roadmaps for sustainable business growth and change.



  • Implementation and Change Guidance

    • Support and influence operational and change management teams in adopting new processes and technologies, ensuring successful implementation and sustained adoption.



  • Platform experience e.g. Salesforce and Conga

    • Ability to understand the current state of Salesforce and Conga; translate low-level detail to high-level mapping and vice versa. Propose and articulate improvement areas for future state and impact of change required

  • Design thinking practitioner: Workshop design and facilitation; customer-centric mindset focused on customer and employee behaviours. Execute process maps and journey maps.

  • Ability to define metrics, KPIs and measurement approaches by establishing baselines and quantifying improvement against business objectives using a structured methodology.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and technology enablers (e.g. Salesforce, Conga); data management experience including mapping data flows and identifying improvement areas.

  • Proven ability to interface with C-suite and executive sponsors and to manage diverse business and technology stakeholders; excellent communication, advisory and team leadership skills.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex business issues, data analysis, identify gaps, and translate them into actionable improvement plans.

  • Problem-Solving: Skill in identifying underlying issues, evaluating options, and developing effective solutions.

  • Communication: Excellent ability to convey information clearly and persuasively to various audiences, focus on articulating business value to business teams and collaborate technical teams to simplify the technical language into process, user experience and data.

  • Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in engaging with diverse groups of people to gain buy-in and ensure alignment on improvement initiatives.

  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop long-term plans and roadmaps for sustainable business growth and change.

  • Performance metrics: Ability to quantify process improvement by establishing a baseline of current performance metrics and then measuring the change in those metrics after implementing a new, optimised process using specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned to business objectives and a structured methodology.
