Hospital Account Manager

Location: Merseyside, Chester, Cumbria & North Wales

Therapy Area: Ophthalmology - Glaucoma & Ocular surface


We are seeking a results-driven and collaborative professional to join our medical team, focusing on glaucoma and dry eye therapies. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting healthcare professionals and improving patient outcomes across the North West region.


Role Overview

As an Hospital Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of ophthalmic products, including treatments for glaucoma and ocular surface conditions. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to the strategic development of the territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and market presence for glaucoma and dry eye therapies.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals to provide product education and support.
  • Secure formulary and protocol inclusion where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and territory performance.
  • Represent the values and collaborative spirit of the team in all engagements.


What You Bring

  • Demonstrated success in a hospital sales role, with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Understanding of hospital procurement and reimbursement processes (preferred).
  • Experience in ophthalmology or the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ophthalmic units in North West (advantageous).
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Proof of Hepatitis B immunisation required.
