About The Role
As a Financial Specialist Account Executive, you are the bridge between legacy constraints and future-state possibilities. Whether you are opening new doors or deepening relationships within our existing ecosystem, you will lead the charge in displacing rigid ERPs with Workday’s AI-powered Financial Management suite.
You won't just be "pitching"; you will be consulting with CFOs to solve the "Iron Triangle" of finance: Compliance, Control, and Agility.
In this role, you will:
- Orchestrate the Future: Lead end-to-end sales cycles for our Financials suite (Accounting, Planning, and Expenses), positioning AI as a core teammate, not just a feature.
- Strategize: Develop high-impact territory plans that prioritize regional market nuances and large-scale transformation opportunities.
- Influence the C-Suite: Build "trusted advisor" status with CFOs and Heads of Transformation, moving the needle from "cost-center" thinking to "strategic value" creation.
- Command the Ecosystem: Act as the "CEO of your territory," aligning pre-sales, value-management, and marketing teams to deliver a unified, compelling vision to the customer. Deepening partner relationships with GSI’s and local SI’s will also be critical.
- Lead the Close: Navigate complex negotiations and regional regulatory landscapes to secure long-term, high-value partnerships.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of elite performance in enterprise software sales or high-level finance transformation consulting.
- Proven track record of navigating C-Level environments and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Experience with SaaS/Cloud environments (ERP, EPM, or Analytics) where you’ve consistently exceeded targets.
- The Visionary Lens: You understand Agentic Finance. You can explain how AI agents will handle reconciliations and anomaly detection, freeing humans for higher-order strategy.
- Value-First Mindset: You don't sell "features"; you sell outcomes. You can quantify the ROI of a finance transformation in your sleep.
- ASEAN Savvy: You understand the cultural and business nuances of the region—building relationships that go beyond the contract.
- The Translator: You can speak "Double-Entry Bookkeeping" with the Controller and "AI-Driven Growth" with the CFO in the same meeting
- Agility & Grit: You are comfortable with the pace of a market-leader and have the sales hygiene (pipeline accuracy, forecasting) to match your closing skills.
