Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on ML experience: model building, training, validation, and deployment — with strong independent technical judgment, not reliance on AI-generated solutions.
- Experience working with cloud-based data environments such as AWS, ideally including S3, Glue, SageMaker, Lambda, or Redshift.
- Proven experience connecting AI/ML systems to cloud infrastructure
- Strong analytical and reporting capability including ad hoc analysis, insight generation, and data storytelling — including to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with messy, real-world behavioral data, ideally financial or transactional in nature.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or regulated data responsibly (PII, financial records, or equivalent)
- Ability to learn new business domains quickly and apply ML solutions in unfamiliar contexts.
- B2 English level or higher.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work with behavioral, transactional, and product data across the tax filing lifecycle to generate predictive insights and actionable recommendations. You will help identify patterns, conversion signals, automation opportunities, and customer journey improvements, translating complex data into clear business insights for product, marketing, operations, and fintech partnership teams.
This role sits between analytics, product, and engineering: you will analyze data, build predictive models, support reporting infrastructure, and communicate the story behind the data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build predictive analyses and machine learning models to support business decision-making
- Work with engineering teams to connect analytical outputs with AWS data infrastructure.
- Translate raw behavioral and transactional data into actionable recommendations for product, marketing, operations, and fintech partnership development.
- Build reporting infrastructure that moves from high-level dashboards to granular, real-time behavioral intelligence.
- Identify automation opportunities across the customer journey based on longitudinal behavioral analysis.
- Communicate findings and model outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Handle sensitive financial and personal data with rigor: apply anonymization, access controls, and compliance best practices across all model inputs and outputs.
