Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer’s role is to design, implement, manage, and optimize our network infrastructure. This is a highly hands-on role, requiring both strategic thinking and deep technical expertise in networking, security, and cloud-based technologies.

Ensuring high availability, performance, monitoring and security of our network environment while leading projects, mentoring role with team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery
• Design, deploy, and maintain architecture LANs, WANs including wireless networks, switches, UPSs, all network tools and appliances related
• Design, implement, and support firewalls, site-to-site IPSECs, VPNs, and security best practices to protect enterprise assets
• Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes
• Ensure network connectivity of all services: workstations, VOIP technology, and all other network appliances across all sites. Manage network integrations with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure…
• Manage projects, and coordinate with suppliers
• Provide the on-call support for urgent network outside of business hours

Qualifications

• 10 years’ minimum of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
• CCNA certification (CCNP preferred)
• Strong technical skills in Cisco/HP networking technologies, Microsoft Azure, routing, switching and wireless networking
• Hands-on experience with network security solution (Firewalls “Fortinet”, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
• Audio/Video experiences with network integration
• Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
• Excellent fluency in English and French
