About the Role
We are engaging experienced Freelance Human Resources Consultants based in Ghana to support a salary bench marking and compensation structuring project across multiple multinational FMCG organizations.
The consultant will work on a project basis to deliver market-aligned compensation insights, focusing on bench marking, pay structuring, and advisory support for critical business functions. This role requires strong analytical capability, sector knowledge, and the ability to work independently while meeting tight project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, validate, and analyze compensation data across various job families and seniority levels
Conduct salary bench marking for strategic roles within Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
Develop and recommend competitive salary structures, pay bands, and compensation frameworks
Assess internal equity and market competitiveness of existing pay structures
Interpret compensation trends within the Ghanaian FMCG market and provide actionable insights
Prepare clear reports and presentations for client stakeholders
Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity throughout the project
Deliver agreed outputs within defined timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in compensation bench marking, total rewards, HR analytics, or rewards consulting
- Strong understanding of the Ghanaian FMCG market and compensation practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project-based environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Professional HR certification (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage
