A well-established manufacturers’ representative and distribution organization in the commercial products industry is seeking an Inside Sales / Account Management Representative to join its growing Kansas City team.

Compensation
- Base salary in the $60K–$70K range
- Additional discretionary bonus opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and manage existing customer accounts on a day-to-day basis
- Handle product requests, quoting activity, order coordination, and transactional support for clients
- Identify additional opportunities within existing projects through consultative conversations and proactive account management
- Work closely with outside sales representatives and internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service and responsiveness
- Utilize ERP systems and Excel for inventory tracking, data entry, and order management
- Learn industry terminology, products, applications, and customer processes to become a trusted resource for clients
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and helping customers navigate project-related challenges
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer service, or a related client-facing role
- Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, construction, or technical products is preferred, but not required
- Ability to learn technical concepts and communicate effectively within a specialized industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a highly team-oriented office setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning ERP or inventory management systems
